Thank you! - Glimpse Audience Survey is complete.

A big thank you to everybody that took part in our audience response survey for our upcoming project 'Glimpse'! The survey came in with a huge 113 responses! and we sure did learn a lot...

Intro page to audience survey.

We're yet to analyse the results fully, but at first glance, here are some interesting observations:

By categorising the class system in a new updated way, we got to observe that a large portion of people that would usually count themselves as working class, now identified as a 'New Affluent Worker'. Thats a huge 36% of people, who feel like their education/ social activity is helping them climb the class ladder. We have hope that's a good sign that theres some bright futures ahead!

Nearly all of our participants have been affected by mental health related influences. A whopping 80% suffered from stress, along with a tearful 31% experiencing suicidal thoughts. When we delved deeper into this, we discovered that 80% of those surveyed felt less than their peers, to some extent, because of the affects of these problems. That probably explains why the most popular response to sadness was to hide it from the outside world - an upsetting reality once you realise that most people also said they would feel better if they had access to some physical contact, either by a loved one or a pet.

Music was by far the most common search on youtube, with other searches leaning towards funny or absurd sketches; a habit which followed over into our research into potential film creation. Many more users were likely to watch/view something relating to travelling, animals or comedy, than any other medium, showing us that we are all on the look out for our next happiness kick!

That's all for now, but keep an eye out for our full report!

Thank you once again for being part of our journey... more to come.
